#note to self: don’t use products with Willowbark in it

So I had the biggest natural hair product fail yesterday.

Yesterday, I was at the pool and the beach. But, I forgot to pack swimmer’s shampoo and conditioner, so my mom and I stopped at CVS to buy some. We ended up buying the Honey Fresh shampoo and Make it Rain conditioner. Skip to me using it in the shower, and the minute I put the shampoo in my hands, my eyes are watering. My nose won’t stop running and I can’t stop sneezing. This continues to today, but I found out that I’m allergic to the Willowbark extract in the Honey Fresh shampoo.

I’m allergic to Oak trees, and I suspect Willowbark is related to Oak trees in some way. Anyway, just wanted to post this in case it helps anyone.
